The Pondo: Room 20 – Spacious Stay

Beds are firmer than expected but in good condition.

Perfect place to stay, right in the middle of Deadwood and Lead. Easy to get to downtown Deadwood. The room was very clean and a great place to rest after a long day

As a motel but marketed as a air bnb I felt it was lacking amenities. No paper towels, no paper plates, or utensils. In my experiences bnb’s normally has these items if there is cooking opportunities. Although it was just a microwave I was improvising what I ate off of and what to use for utensils. A good note they were responsive for some rags to use on motorcycle.

we rented room #20, it was clean BUT definitely had a dog smell that was very strong. we arrived late in the evening & I figured i would talk to manager about it in the morning. Although we had to cut our stay short. the beds were horribly hard & uncomfortable. I was in extreme pain the next morning. My husband has a horrible back could barely walk. I messaged the owner & asked for my 2nd night's $ back & unfortunately that didn't happen.

Very clean, no noise from neighbors.
